Foundation Facts

Mission/Purpose

The mission of the Jordan C. Hubbard Foundation is to promote ataxia awareness, fund research for Spinocerebellar Ataxia and help offset the cost of durable medical equipment for children with movement disorders. Incorporated in the state of Texas, the Jordan C. Hubbard Foundation was established on September 11, 2002 as the dream of Jordan's parents, Jason and Sherri Hubbard.

Monies raised for ataxia research will be returned to the National Ataxia Foundation that is in its 45th year of serving ataxia families. The national foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by ataxia through support, education and research. In 2001 the foundation committed more than $400,000.00 for fifteen ataxia research studies.
